Hold On Tight
The journey of life full of questions , arising from uncertainty. The most common being the WHY? question. Take for example most time when life's disappointment hits us, it's they why question that comes to bear!
I taught I would have a job by now but 9yrs after graduation nothing is happening Why?
I always taught by 24 I would be married now am 35 and I don't have a fiance to begin with why?
I always served you Lord but it looks as if since I got more committed to serving you, things got worse why?
The truth is if am to be totally sincere with you I don't have a complete answer to this questions but the scriptures tells us, "God is not a man that he should lie" when he says a anything he will perform it. So the question is what has God said or planned concerning you, and this your dream is it part of his plans for you or against his plan for you.
The story of Joseph is good example for us,
Joseph was having a comfortable life already in portiphers house when his refusal to commit sin looked as if it lead to him suffering! He was looked up for years for a crime he didn't commit and for being a good child of God, now Why? did God allow this to happen? The answer lies in the dream Joseph had before getting to Egypt, he was supposed to be a leader and a ruler for his people, and he couldn't get there by being the chief servant in a mans house who is suppose to be under him. So we could see portiphers house was not his destination, neither was prison or slavery they were all routes to his destination the throne. The suffering was to grow him into a better, wiser man and to position him as he got native knowledge of Egypt, what could take him to Egypt? That's where slavery came in. That situation is not the end it's just part of the route to your glorious destiny! Learn to exercise faith in him David said "tho you slay, I will trust in yyou" Hold on tight never let go, the journey maybe rough but he will bring you to safety. Tho I walk through the valley of the shadow death, I will fear no evil.
